Hi, I'm Camilla, the artist behind Kerafakt. My journey in design and creativity started at a young age and design has always been my fascination – shapes, colors, and expression. This passion paved the way for a career in fashion design. After many years in Italy and Milan, in 2011 I relocated to Stockholm and continuing my career as a designer. Alongside fashion, I discovered a deep passion for ceramics, and it soon became a central part of my artistic journey. Today, I work as a freelance designer and ceramic artist.
Inspired by emotions
“My artwork is about daring to wait and letting things take their time. A slow processes that allows mind and body to destress. The complete opposite to my career in fashion.
The pieces are characterized by movement and organic forms, often with an expression that can be related to textiles, textures, spatiality, and architecture. It is tactile and intuitive. The work is a melting pot of impressions and experiences, a distilled, blended image of the world and what I experience: sensations, memories, and emotions.”
